[Breakthrough] The successful application of the first decorative paper headbox

Recently, the hydraulic dilution water headbox designed for decorative paper by big finger equipment has been successfully operated in Jiangsu xingguang new material technology co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "xingguang new material") PM6 with COV = 0.3, and its operation effect is comparable to that of world-class brands and is highly recognized by users.
The production line was put into operation at the end of 2018. It mainly produces 70-85g/㎡ decorative base paper. It is restricted by the headbox (the headbox of the original machine is equipped with homogenizing roller). The product banner quantity is poor and there is a longitudinal pulp path in the speed-up process. The coverage of the base paper cannot meet the requirements of high-grade decorative base paper, and the competitive advantage of the product market is not obvious. In view of this, the company decided to upgrade the PM6 headbox, through strict technical comparison, and finally selected the big finger equipment hydraulic dilution water headbox.
Decorative paper to join the filler is titanium dioxide, titanium dioxide, the proportion of large, high price. Decorative paper requires good coverage, which is also determined by titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide is difficult to disperse and easy to settle. If the headbox is not properly selected, the dosage of titanium dioxide will increase, and the base paper will be poor in curtain penetration and coverage. For a long time, the market for the hydraulic headbox used for its production of decorative base paper was monopolized by European brands.
This project is the first attempt of our hydraulic headbox in the decorative paper industry. Its successful operation has broken the mindset that decorative paper hydraulic headbox must be imported and provided decorative paper customers with a new choice to improve product quality.
